Calories keep changing

On a normal day with no workout, I burn around 2400 calories. Today I ran 5 miles and burned an additional 650+ calories to the “normal day”. All day calories looked accurate. 10:30 pm I go from 2900 to less then 2100. This keeps happening. Thoughts? I’ve had a Fitbit for 7-8 years and I’ve never had this problem. I’ve seen in the forum this has been a problem for some since at least 2019. I could take a long nap after lunch and reach 2100 in a day. This is so frustrating.

And now it went from 2100 to 3400. At least this time it corrected itself. How do I fix this in the future? It doesn’t always fix itself.

The calorie count is just not good. I consistently get about 10% less than I did for similar activity (distance, time ,and floor equivalents) than I did with my One.

And now my Versa crapped out on me and I had to reset it which made me lose the 2.5 miles I walked this morning. God I miss my One.
