Hi All,

New to Fitbit and just purchased the Versa 4. Trying to set up Spotify but when I go the app on my phone and go to Account > Versa 4 I don't see a Media tile. I just have Amazon Alexa, Gallery, Wallet and How to Use.

Does anyone know how to get Media and set up Spotify?

Thank you,
Patrick

@Starzan it does not support any music at all. Third party apps for the Versa 4 are very limited.

@Starzan the Versa 4 does not support Spotify. That was only available for earlier devices.

Thank you Alex! I could have sworn when I was researching it said it would support Spotify. Do you know what Music service it supports? I don't even see a Media tile.

@alexthecat oh wow! I totally missed that. Such a disappointment. I bought for training and need music. Thanks so much for your quick responses. I guess my next step is to return.

If Fitbit will not do something to implement quicky the missing features they will receive back a lot of selled watches, and one of those is mine

They already lost me. I just filled out my Return form. It's a bummer b/c I really wanted to support Fitbit over Apple. But basic features like Music streaming for a training watch seems like it should be standard. Not training and carrying another device for for music. At least it was nice knowing this community for a minute...

The Versa watches support Spotify but only in a limited way, you can put the Spotify app on your watch, but you can only changes songs, see your play lists and stuff like that but it connects to the phone, you can't download music and play offline. the apps that do support offline are deeser and pandora. at least that was on the versa 3 and 2. I don't know what google has done since then. the one that does support Spotify is the google pixel watch that I was waiting for. but if you're an apple user your screwed. Google does not like you and you can no longer be a part of the Fitbit fun. I'm sure we are going to see this more and more, new watches that have new feature but only with an android phone. it doesn't make sense that they will not work with both phones like Fitbit always has done.

I'm disgusted with this google take over not sale it's a takeover.

Fitbit (Google) has disabled 3rd party apps on Versa 4. So it's a big downgrade if you just got this watch from a previous Versa.

Congratulations on owning an expensive pedometer with a clock.

I know I'm happy. **sigh**

I just purchased the Versa 4 (my first "smart" watch) and was disappointed that the apps that used to be available are gone. I'm not sure how much I'd use Spotify or Pandora 4 but with no explanation--other than corporate greed--I will be returning mine. My other pet peeve is the subscription fee to use all of the features on the watch. If they can't make enough money from the sale of the watch...well, never mind. I guess that's an oxymoron. Unless consumers speak out in enough numbers nothing will change.
