Can't turn off Auto-Recognize

I can't get my Auto-Recognize to stop working. I have set all activities to 'ignored' but on my run today, it still auto-detected itself. Any ideas how to get this to stop doing it?

@chloenuthall   Your Versa 4 has two features that automatically track exercise.  The feature that can recognize those seven activities is called SmartTrack.  It sounds like you turned off your SmartTrack.  The Versa 4 has a feature that detects certain activities and turns on the Exercise app.  It is available for 6 exercises and you control them in the Exercise app.  You mentioned run, so here is how you turn it off for Run:

  • Short press the button, select and open the Exercise app
  • Select Run -- you might need to search through the list
  • Swipe up on the tiny "^" on the bottom of the screen until you find Auto Start or Run detect (depends on your firmware version)
  • Toggle it Off

If your Versa 4 still has firmware version 194.86, then the Auto-detect is in the Run, Walk, and Bike Exercise shortcuts.  If you received version 210.26, then it is also a feature in the Elliptical, Rowing, and Spinning shortcuts.
