I just purchased a versa 4. I downloaded the Fitbit app today so it’s the updated version. I installed the versa and got all the way to where it says it has an update available. I get to the last screen to update and the button won’t press. I’ve already tried restarting versa and my phone. I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

@Cassee, please take a look at the following help article: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? Sense series and Versa series
Best AnswerI am also having the same issue (plus a few others). I’ve tried restarting my phone and watch, deleting and re-downloading the app.
In the last 10 years I’ve had a really smooth experience with my Fitbit. The last week I’ve had some strange notifications - I’m notified multiple times after I’ve reached my step goal for the day and I’ve also noticed my active minutes been in the negative on my watch while I’m exercising.
Best AnswerI’m have the same issue as @Mlyglesias. I recently bought my watch today and installed the app, once I get to the update button within the app as @Mlyglesias provided in their comment, you cannot click on it. You can only click on not now which takes you back to where it states versa 4 update available.

I had to get my Fitbit exchanged. I’ve also used Fitbit for years. I had switched to a garmin and didn’t really like it so I switched back to Fitbit.

I would contact support for your Fitbit. They were extremely helpful. Unfortunately because I purchased mine through Amazon Fitbit couldn’t replace the watch. I had to return it through Amazon and get a new one.
some of the steps they walked me through were to reset the watch and restart your phone. Since that didn’t work for mine I had to disconnect the Fitbit from the app by forgetting the device. The reinstall the app. Reset the Fitbit then install the Fitbit as a new device. Mine just never worked so I needed a new one.
