Hi @knoxtnsunflower - if you pull down on the watch face to get to Quick settings and can't turn off all the icons, try a restart by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears. Once started try again.
Also logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and restart the phone.
Then try syncing again.
