My historical data from when I started using a fitbit (2014) to 2018 is missing. I spent time on the phone with a Fitbit representative yesterday. I checked all possible email addresses. I do not have a separate account. I have no historic data with Fitbit. I transferred my data when the fitbit transitioned to google.
I tried something that someone suggested to restore my historic WEIGHT data...which was to enter a weight in 2014 and see if it populated the data. It did populate some of the data, but only back to 2019. Is Google deleting our data after 5 years or something? If yes I might have missed that announcement. Is there a way to export it before deletion? I have used my fitbit to track my progress through various health transitions and I refer to it when I'm with a doctor and they ask me about historic questions related to illness, some I can see with my weight, & some when my heart rate changed significantly before I got diagnosed. Now that history is disappearing. Please advise on how I can restore my data back to 2014. Fitbit does not have it. Google has it. This is a fitbit forum, which is now owned by Google, so are we talking to google on this forum? If not, how do we talk to the google people who are making decisions about my data? Thank you!
Samsung S25 Ultra phone.

@bgwg I moved your post to the Android app forum, probably a better fit for your issue. I use the iOS app version and could see historical data from Oct 2013 when I joined. I checked steps and calories burned and was satisfied that I did enough searching.
This is a moderated user to user help site. The only talk/chat feature is with Support. You can send feedback in the Fitbit app. You tap on your profile picture, then Send feedback. I send lots of feedback, but never get a response.

I noticed today that I am also missing my data from 2014 to 2018 and I have always used the ios app. Are you going to move my comment to the Ios app or is someone going to look into this? I moved my account to google - as required - and now a big chunk of my historical data is missing.
