I have been a loyal customer of your brand for many years and have always chosen Fitbit trackers. My very first tracker was a Fitbit, and until now I have always been extremely satisfied. The devices were durable, the batteries lasted for several days even with daily use, and the data tracking was consistently accurate.
Unfortunately, my experience with the Fitbit Versa 4 has been very disappointing.
I have had this tracker for about a year, and I have already had to replace the strap three times, as it keeps breaking very easily. Additionally, the hinges that hold the strap have become worn, causing the watch to fall off my wrist.
I have also experienced issues during workouts. For example, when I start a running session, the watch sometimes turns off after a few minutes and stops tracking my activity. Then, it may randomly start tracking running or walking again on its own. As a result, there is no continuity in my exercise data, and sometimes it shows multiple separate workouts instead of one.
Another issue is with notifications. Messages and calls do not always trigger vibrations. There have been many occasions where I later checked my phone and realized I had missed calls or messages, even though I was wearing the watch and received no alerts.
Due to these problems, I have stopped wearing the watch regularly and now take it off at night because it keeps falling off. This also means I am unable to use the sleep tracking feature.
I must admit that this experience has been very disappointing, especially as a long-time customer. At this point, I am seriously considering that this may be the last tracker I purchase from your company.
I hope you will take this feedback into consideration.

Best AnswerI had fitbits for over 10 years and this is my 2nd versa 4 and lately I hate it so much! It has been taking steps away from me, everyday lately I hit 10k like 4 different times. Heartrate isn't registering I'm just so over Fitbit...Google seems to be killing them not making them better.

Hi @CrlyFry - the steps being adjusted is a Google server issue where randomly they adjust steps by various amounts during syncing.
It has been happening for a long time now and never been permanently fixed. It is not a watch problem. It seems to be happening a lot recently, other times less so.
