Display of New App

I am registered blind and the new display tones are too hard too see. Please send me the research to show that you tested and researched the display change for people with Visual or Severe Visual Impairments or did you not even consider the use by disabled customers. Please answer as this is a serious equity question that should have been part of the equation when making decision on tones/background and display. No one likes the new display but that is not the issue I am referring too, although I abhor the new display and lack of battery % information too. If you would please share the results and research for the tone/colour background and display with regards to people with Visual Impairments as without it one would think this was never considered which in itself brings a whole new set of problems and questions. Many Thanks

Hi @Claresabb - unfortunately none of the users in this forum can answer your point and Fitbit would not respond. Things like watch screen rotation for left handed people and App dark mode for bettering the experience on the eyes have been requested since years without any success, so it would seem unlikely that Fitbit are interested in people with any disabilities, difficulties or needs, or the voices of their other customers, see examples of posts in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the  iOS and Android app forums.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. This could take months to get this test version to anywhere near how the previous version was.

Hi Guy,

Thank you so very much for reading and so kindly replying to my post. I am not familiar with leaving a post and I think if you had not so thoughtfully replied I would have been scratching my head. I am very grateful for your reply and information given, although it is disappointing, I have an answer to my question. Sincerely thank you. Clare
