Distance doesn’t match on app and Fitbit

The distance goal on my Fitbit app is set to 5 miles a day. On my app at the moment is shows I’ve walked 3.4 miles, and need 1.6 miles to meet goal. However on my versa 4, it shows I’ve done 3.4 miles and have 4.64 left to meet goal. I’ve reset and reinstalled and updated… everything you can do to troubleshoot and it still is showing incorrectly. Any help?

I can't find the gear symbol anywhere in my phone ap. I'm losing at least half of a mile for every 10,000 steps.

Found it!!! Try this:

CLICK user photo at upper right home screen

CLICK "Fitbit Settings"

CLICK "Activity &Wellness"

CLICK "Exercise"

Should see a place to fix/set a more accurate stride length! 🙂
