I have a nickel allergy and need to replace my Fitbit Versa 2. Can anyone tell me if the Fitbit Versa 4 has the same back and case as the Fitbit Versa 2? When the Sense first came out I tried it but reacted to the back of the smartwatch.

Hello Khalloran. I have just read your post. I have a nickel allergy. No problem experienced with Versa4. Continual wearing (except for showering,charging, and cleaning). This is after approx two years. I keep the back of the watch clean by gently wiping with a soft cloth (no felt). Being careful of the sensors.
This is only my experience.

Hi there @Khalloran.
Thanks for the details. Before anything else, as the User Manual describes, let me share that the housing and buckle on the Versa 4 are made of anodized aluminum. While anodized aluminum can contain traces of nickel, which can cause an allergic reaction in someone with nickel sensitivity, the amount of nickel in all Fitbit products meets the European Union's stringent Nickel Directive.
If you're experiencing any discomfort while wearing your Fitbit device, it’s very important to review our product & safety information and follow our wear and care tips. Most members are able to wear their device without discomfort when following the wear and care tips. If the issue persists, get in touch with our Support team so they can see what can be done for you.

I do see that you did go ahead and get the Versa4, and I think you'll be glad you did ... I am. I, too, have nickel allergy and I've had no issues at all with my Versa4 ... (other than the battery seems to drain more quickly recently, but it charges pretty fast, so there's that 🙂 ). Enjoy your new Versa4!!!

@connienytx That's great to hear!
I'm happy you're enjoying your Versa 4 and that the nickel allergy is under control. It's a relief to find a comfortable and stylish fitness tracker.
The battery drain is something we can try to solve. Have you tried adjusting settings like screen brightness or turning the Always on Display off to see if it helps?
