Does Versa 4 receive text and calls?

Fitbit Versa 4 watch can receive calls, messages, calendar, email, and other app notifications from the connected phone that can be an Android or iPhone.

I just got my versa 4. I receive texts and calls on the watch. When I hit accept on the call on the watch my iPhone connected. Does this have the ability to hear/speak through the watch?  Same with texts can you respond on the watch?

I have a Samsung 21 and I am not receiving texts on my versa 4. I did test and I am getting phone calls. I am not sure what to do.

I am getting texts. I see incoming calls and watch vibrates. But it does not have the ability to talk to the watch yet. However once I could answer the call on the watch and hear on my phone

I really haven’t dabbled with that much.

@SusanMD62 please complete the setup you should be able to answer and talk through your wrist. 

How to answer calls

On my versa 4 watch under settings, vibration and audio is enabled but there is not a “on wrist calls” section in vibration and audio. When I go to settings and Bluetooth I see Versa 4 calls. When I select it I got a message connection unsuccessful make sure Versa 4 calls is on and within range.

In the Fitbit app it says on wrist calls is all set! And call notifications is on.

So I’m unable to go any further to Pair!
My guess is what I said earlier about not having “on wrist calls” section in vibration and audio on my watch??
