Exercise (walking) stops when no movement detected

Did a walking exercise today with my Versa 4. GPS was on and auto-pause. Halfway through I stopped for about 15 minutes. When I got home and looked at the details of my walk I found that it only recorded up to the point where I stopped. Is this normal? Does it automatically stop and saves an exercise if it detects no activity after x minutes?

If you didn't start this exercise manually, but let your Versa 4 detect it automatically, tracking will be stopped automatically as well, if you're pausing too long.

To prevent this, you'll have to start an exercise manually, where you can set auto pausing. If, after having started tracking manually, your pause will extend too much, you then will be asked if you want to end this exercise.

@jml9905   I have a Sense 2, which has the same OS as the Versa 4.  I reviewed the Walk setting options and compared them to the Run setting options.  My Walk has Auto-stop.  My Run has both Auto-pause and Auto-stop.  Auto-stop ends the exercise in about 10 minutes if nothing is detected.  Please double check your Walk settings.  If it is Auto-stop and it is toggled to On, then it is behaving normally.

@jml9905 to add to what @LZeeW  already said, auto-stop in Walk settings seems to be enabled by default (I found it on my watch enabled).
