Feature Request: 1-Minute Intervals + Ability to Add Stretching to Versa 4

Hello Fitbit Team and Community,

I’d like to submit a feature request based on daily, real-world use of the Versa 4.

Two related improvements would significantly enhance the user experience:

1) Allow 1-minute intervals in the Exercise app

Earlier Versa models allowed shorter interval loops, which are extremely useful for:

Stretching routines

Mobility work

Physical therapy / rehab exercises

Recovery and warm-up sessions

On Versa 4, the current minimum interval length is too restrictive for these use cases. A 1-minute interval option (with looping) would add meaningful flexibility without increasing complexity.

2) Allow users to add “Stretching” as a selectable exercise on the watch

Stretching exists in the Fitbit app and can be logged manually, but it cannot be added or selected directly on the Versa 4. This creates an unnecessary gap between phone features and on-device functionality.

Being able to:

Add Stretching to the watch

Start it directly from the Exercise app

would greatly improve usability, especially for users who rely on stretching for recovery, back health, or injury prevention.

Why this matters

Many users are not tracking high-intensity workouts only — we also use Fitbit for:

Consistency

Recovery

Long-term joint and spine health

These two changes would support a large group of users without altering Fitbit’s core design philosophy.

Thank you for considering this feedback. I’d love to see these options added in a future update.
