Features of Versa 4

Hi, I have had a Versa 2 for a few years now and just got an Apple Watch series 8, I’ve had it for 2 days and miss my Fitbit (mainly for the app) so will likely be returning it!
However there are some features I do like on the Apple so was considering whether I could upgrade my Fitbit instead to achieve these and was looking at the Versa 4 but have read mixed reviews about its features, what I need to know is if I will achieve the following from an upgrade.
> I love the built in GPS on the Apple. As I’m a swimmer mainly it means it tracks my kick lengths which V2 doesn’t. I take it this is enabled by V4’s GPS.

> Does the V4 heart rate monitor disable during swimming like the V2? Apple’s doesn’t.

I’ve read you lose some important features on the Versa 4. Is this the case?

1. I'm not sure what you mean by kick lengths. I see no such metric on AW. The GPS is used by AW to calculate distance for open water swim. Fitbit doesn't use GPS when swimming (no open water swimming support). If you meant in-watch laps counting (that you can see how many lengths you've swum on screen) then no, it doesn't support it.

2. It doesn't monitor HR.

3. Adjust how?

4. Yes, currently FitbitPay and in some unknown future GooglePay.

Yes, some features have been removed.
