How can I get rid of the Fitbit Labs ad on my App?

How can I get rid of the FitBit Labs ad on my app? I turned the feature off. O declined to participate and yet it persists. This is so annoying. All of these forced ads will definitely make me buy a different product.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, removing then repairing my Fitbit device, and all the permissions suggestions I've seen online, but the Fitbit Laps tile is still there. I just want it gone!

Our team has been informed and they are looking into this. 

To help them investigate this, could you please share with us, the phone model and the operating system version it uses? (eg. Pixel Phone 6 Android 15, iPhone 14 iOS 18.3, etc) . 
We appreciate your collaboration. 
Hopefully this gets solved soon.

I do not yet see v.4.44 available. My app version is 4.43.1, and shows as being the most up to date one available in the Google Play store. Is the update being released in phases?

@psychoktty , Thank you for your reply. The update should be released to everybody today. 

The PlayStore might take a bit to make it available for everyone.  Keep an eye open in the next few days. Let me know how it goes after the update.

I have been having the same problem, I have been trying to remove the ad again and again, and nothing works. 

I listened to you and went to the Play Store to update the app, and it says my app is already up to date. 

This ad is making my user experience severely annoying. I already buy your products, I believe I am entitled to remove ads after seeing them and even interacting with them.

If this does not change, I will stop using Fitbit and switch to a competitor.

Hi there - I waited a few days as recommended (actually more than that), and the newest version of the app on Google Play is still app version is 4.43.1. Can you provide a date when the v.4.44 will be available in the Google Play store?

I have version 4.44 and.the problem still exists! Not being able to remove the Fitbit Labs prompt banner is extremely annoying! I do not believe this is an update issue at all. It is an intentional manipulative strategy along with the tactic of requiring users to take a survey to explain why they want to opt out.

Ok i have the new app version. Now I have TWO unwanted fitbit labs tiles that I can't X out of. The update seems to have exacerbated the problem. I have included pictures with the unwanted elements circled.

Yes, I do too! Google appears to be just adding new features to their
FitBit Labs and show NO sign of making it possible to remove these items
from our FitBit app. The frustration keeps growing!
