I was having an issue with location services on my fitbit versa 4. I use the device regularly to run and no matter what I did (updates, un/re install, ensure all location services were on, & connected, device factory reset etc.) it was/is no longer accurate. My last attempt was to transfer from the fitbit app to Google (as required)...I've lost all of my data -runs/wrkouts, health, sleep, HR, EVERYTHING since 2015!! And my location still DOES NOT WORK!! I've done countless hours of research and nothing or fix. You can download load previous fitbit data but it is not transferring to Google Fitbit. I use to love fitbit, what it had to offer, and buy new devices fairly frequently. It's just not working anymore. About to start looking for a new fitness tracker!! What a shame & one last mention...they have this stupid Plan for Care Fit Labs on the main screen that you cannot exit out of. SMH DISAPPOINTING.

Ok so I'm not exactly sure what the issue is. How exactly did you attempt to transfer your account to a Google Fitbit account? This cannot be done unless you get a prompt in the app. I tried to do this by changing my Fitbit email to my Google email and it won't work. If you didn't wait for the prompt, you didn't transfer your account. Once you do transfer your account, all your historical data should be there.
I suspect somehow that a new account was started when you attempted to make the transfer, which would explain why you don't see your historical data.
