Hi @CharlieMcCann and warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you for your message and I appreciate the question.
Regarding children's devices, only the Ace models are permitted for children. I recommend reading "How do I get started with Fitbit kids devices?"
Fitbit has created a way to collect parental consent. Purchasing a Fitbit device for kids and creating a family account is the only way customers can set up a device for their child.
Through the Family Account setting in the Fitbit app, customers can create a special Fitbit account—known as a child account—for their child, control who they connect with in the Fitbit app, and see how active they are each day.
For privacy reasons and to protect children and their personal data, Fitbit requires all registered users to be at least 13 years old. Customers in the EU may have different minimum age guidelines depending on their country, such as France, which is at least 15 years old.
