GPS not accurate getting cut off

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa 4 worked fine for a while but now will cut off the last ten or fifteen minutes of my runs.  The whole time it shows GPS connected but will not register the last mile or so.  So frustrating.

Same with me during my daily walks. It worked fine until this week. I shut the Fitbit down and restarted it, and that worked for two days. I walked almost 6 miles yesterday, and it stopped tracking my route less than a mile in. It does record the mileage, but not my route.

Yes strangely it usually shows the correct total mileage or duration in the summary but the GPS data just stops after a couple miles.  When it sends to Strava it completely cuts off the last part of my runs and has been doing it off and on for the last 2 months.  Restarting my Fitbit before exercise seemed to help but my last run I restarted and still got cut off.  Really annoying.

Same. 8 mile run this morning. GPS said it was on and it was vibrating as I ran. But no map when I finished and no connection through to Strava. It’s extremely frustrating sometime works sometimes doesn’t. My versa 2 connected to my phone was fine for 5 years. Versa 4 is useless.  The Google takeover seems to have ruined Fitbit.

Same here. About a week ago I started to lose mileage tracking or it's so far off it's not even funny. Have restarted the watch numerous times and no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback, at least I know the issue isn't just with my own versa 4.  I've had it a year and a half and was great up until recently.  I tried to use the Fitbit help chat and they just said to make sure the software is up to date and restart the Fitbit but otherwise I haven't found any useful fixes.

Happened again randomly today.  How the hell do I fix this?

Have been having the exact same problem with my Versa 4 for a couple of weeks now - I thought my device was on its way out! Glad to see it’s not just mine I suppose…
