Green sensor light not working

Hello,

I purchased the Fitbit Versa 4 just Saturday, 2nd December from Kohl's. I was able to setup the watch and link it to my phone, a Google Pixel 7 Pro with no issues whatsoever. Heart rate monitor worked, sleep tracker worked. I traveled home to Barbados on Sunday and it worked up til then. Shortly after I landed, I noticed the heart rate monitor no longer registered, not did the sleep tracker record any information despite being on my wrist. I've tried numerous solutions seen online, like restarting the watch, going through the re-pair process, logged out of the app, everything. I even factory reset twice. Both times there was a red x that flashed on the screen but it continued to boot afterwards. I'm starting to wonder if the heart rate tracker doesn't work outside of the US and I would hate that to be the case, knowing I spent 150USD (300 my currency) and can't use two of the functions I really wanted to use on a watch.

If anyone has any insight, information, solutions, fixes, I'd be so grateful. Currently sitting here with a "dead" watch since it's not registering the heart rate, nor is the green sensor coming on. I don't even see an option to "turn on or off" the heart rate monitor. Please assist

Try this: restart ;  normally it is hold in side button for about 10 seconds until get fitbit logo, but when dealing with red X, hold in longer until get red X, it disappears and then get fitbit logo afterward - maybe about 20 seconds or whatever it takes.  Let me know if that helps.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @PJamster - if you still get a clock face come up when wearing the watch check if you are seeing a heart rate when you swipe the watch face sideways.

Sometimes if you hold the watch upside down on a surface the lights will go out.

There is no option to turn HR on/off and is on constantly regardless of location.

If you have factory reset it and set it up again successfully and it is still not registering HR it sounds faulty in which case chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
