Before the purchase by Google this company had a shred of integrity. Now it's all about making products designed to fall apart once out of warranty so they can sell you a discounted replacement. It's ridiculous that the metal fasteners on the back fall off regularly enough there are numerous reviews about this problem, yet Google won't address the issue and instead offers to sell a replacement for 35% percent off.
This is the third fitbit. The first Versa I had no problems with. The second Versa crapped out in less than a year. They had to send two replacements because the replacement caused an unexplained allergic reaction on my skin that was not present with the original OEM product. With the third the metal fasteners fell off. Poor craftmanship of an expensive product that Google thinks is a fungible product that is supposed to be replaced annually apparently. It's BS.
