When I raise my wrist to look at my Fitbit, I'm doing it because I want to know what time it is. I don't care how long I've been walking (there's both a watch and a manual timer for that), I don't care how far I've walked (I can divide steps by 2000), and I absolutely to not enjoy having to hit "End" in order to see the time. Will not buy again!

Welcome to the forums, @marstinson.
I've moved your post to the Versa 4 board in order to keep the forums organized. Thanks for this information, as well as your feedback regarding your watch. Let me explain that during an exercise, you can customize what stats you'd like to have displayed, including the time. To do this, let's try the following:
Please note these settings will be saved so you can start your workout right away next time. For more information about how the Exercise app works, check this help article.

Thank you for the suggestions, but it's a work-around rather than a solution to the original problem of poor interface design. The design assumption here is "you want to know how long you've been exercising," which is a very poor assumption for a wristwatch. The better assumption would be something along the lines of "you want to know the time unless you specify otherwise."

Hi there, @marstinson.
Thanks for getting back. I understand your point of view about checking your preferred stats right on your wrist, and for this reason the Exercise app allows you to customize what stats you want to see during each exercise option.
As mentioned before, you can select to see just the time in the Middle section during your exercise by following the steps mentioned above. That way, the time will always be displayed regardless if you tap on the screen.
Nevertheless, if you want to check the time on the clock face and not as an exercise stat, I'd encourage you to vote for this suggestion.
