How long does it take to export my Fitbit data ?

Hi , so I am trying to do a data export of just my fitbit data as I have purchased a new watch. Now my friends done it who didn't merge with Google and hers came straight away. However mine is in progress. How long will this take because its stating hours /days yet my friend got hers in minutes. Seems like I have a barrier because I unfortunately merged fitbit with Google which I wish I never did

Let me help you export your Fitbit data.

Note that if you have a large amount of Fitbit data it can take up to a few days to generate your account data archive. Check the status of your request in your Data Export account settings.

In addition, if you migrated your Fitbit account to your Google account, you'll need to follow the instructions in our help article How to download your Google data instead of those listed in our help articleHow do I export my Fitbit data?
