How much data will be transferred if I don't sync my Versa 4 for more than 7 days?

Hi, wondering if anyone can tell me how much data I'll get on the app if I don't sync my Versa 4 for more than 7 days. How much data will there be? The manual says only 7 days of data is stored on the device itself. But what if the Fitbit isn't worn during some of that time? Will it sync more than 7 days of data to my phone if there's less data to sync? Thanks!

Hi there, @ml1318. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post.

As @LZeeW has mentioned, most Fitbit devices store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. Nevertheless, if your Fitbit device was unpaired from your Fitbit account during this period of time, neither the 7 days can be recovered or restored.

If your Fitbit device waited longer than 7 days before you could sync, bear in mind that you can manually add your data as long as you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed. To get more information about this, check the article: Can I add an activity manually to the Fitbit app?

Hello @ml1318 and welcome to the Community.  First, let me clarify that your Fitbit stores seven days of detailed data and 30 days of basic data.  I'm very confident that a day will be a day, even if you only wear it part of the day.

Thank you! What can I see in "basic data"? How detailed is it? I will be disconnected from my phone for several days but wondering what stats I will see from a hike once I sync again.

Thanks @MarreFitbit! So just to clarify, if I sync again after say, 9 days, I'll only see detailed data for the *most recent* 7 days? Going back further than those 7 days, would I be able to see step, HR data, etc in greater increments like 15 minutes in the app, or just day summary? Thanks for your help.
