Hi @Jonathan5008 you can always go to Amazon and search for "Fitbit Versa 4 band extender" and you'll find a solution to the tight band. See if that is an option you'd be comfortable with. No need to wear a Fitbit that is too tight and the extender is easily removed when it's no longer needed. And yes, @Jonathan5008, you've got this. A new journey to a healthier lifestyle. Remember it's the baby steps that work out in the long run for us all. Don't stress and each time you want a cigarette, wait twenty minutes and if you still want it - wait another twenty minutes. You'll soon find you've put off smoking for good!

I also just got my Versa 4 for a research program! And I am super grateful for it. I would not have gotten a smart watch otherwise, because I don't like big things on my wrist (and because they seem like an expensive luxury), but surprisingly the Versa 4 feels fine, and does not bother me at all. I got spare bands before the watch even arrived, because I am supposed to wear it constantly and that seems like maybe not a great idea with the rubbery band (which I do like and is comfy on my tiny wrist). The band it came with is great for exercise because it easy to clean (same for hot days, like today!). But I also got some stretchy nylon-fabric ones from Amazon that I like a lot. The only thing with those is, I worry they put too much strain on the plastic latch while putting on and taking off. So rather than stretching them over my hand to pull off, I undo the latch. Same thing in reverse when I put on, which is tricky for me because I live alone (so I have to do it on my own, stretching the band and attaching it using just one hand, while pressing my wrist against my abdomen to hold the watch in place). But if you have someone to help you, I highly recommend the stretchy nylon fabric bands. These bands can be adjusted to a wide range of sizes, more so than the bands that came with the watch. I know this because I can't wear the watch on my ankle with the large band that came with the watch, but I can wear it on an ankle with one of the stretchy bands at the largest setting. (Ankle wear is a backup if for some reason I really do not want it on my wrist.) I hope this helps! Enjoy your new watch!

I had a hard time choosing between Charge 5 and Versa 4. I think the Charge 5 looks great. But I've never had a smartwatch before and it was hard to opt against the "fancier" model. I am super happy with it, other than I can't connect Alexa. But even if I can't fix that, I'm still happy with the watch.
