I'm using a Pixel 3 and it stopped syncing yesterday

My Versa 4 synced yesterday at noon and won't sync anymore.

Today steps are adding on to yesterday's total.  I've gone thru all suggested fixes.

But you have also just switched your account from Fitbit to Google, correct?  Was that just yesterday?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
