I brought a used Fitbit versa 4 From an auction site. The site sells returns from various companies like Amazon. I got the fitbit home and could see it had been worn as it had all dirt on the back! I charged it up. I was about to link it to my phone when it started to flash and a big red cross flashed on the screen. I have emailed the auction company who will not help and will not give me my money back. does anybody know if Fitbit will be able to help in this matter!!
thanks

Hi @Perfectper You can try contacting Support and see if a technician can troubleshoot this problem. There are other posts about this red X issue, but I don't know if there is a solution.

Hi @Perfectper, Welcome to our community forums!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the red X on your Versa 4 screen; I'd be happy to help!
It looks like your device might be missing a recent update. To fix this, please try a quick restart by holding the side button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears.
If that doesn't do the trick, you may need to perform a factory reset:
Once you have completed the factory reset, please proceed to set up the device again following this article.
Additionally, thank you to @LZeeW , for your comment!
