Download a free Bluetooth locator app on your phone might help you locate it more precisely.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Versa4CH!
Thank you for posting and for letting us know about your lost Fitbit. I understand the importance for you to find your Versa 4 as soon as possible.
The best way to see if the device is nearby is by using your own phone and the app. Check the Fitbit app to see the last time your device synced. If it synced recently, it's likely within range of your phone, just as you mentioned. Take your phone to the area where you think you lost your device and try to sync. If your device syncs, it's nearby.
In addition to what @JohnnyRow has recommended (very helpful by the way). For iPhone, try LightBlue Explorer. For Android, try Bluetooth Finder.

Another option I forgot to mention, particularly if you can narrow it down to one room. If you have access to a 2nd phone, put yours on mute and call yourself from 2nd phone and listen carefully to hear fitbit vibrating, though that will take some valuable battery, which is why I don't suggest it unless you think you are close enough to hear the vibrating.

Hi @Versa4CH - in addition to the useful suggestions, if you can make your rooms dark before sleep schedule starts, when you send a text from another phone it may light up with the notification.
Alternatively if you have a dog see if it can find, they like looking for things!
