I have purchased a Versa 3 watch 1 yr before.
Didn't use it much.
It started not responding even a time display and the display appear with a default screen of Fitbit logo.
Contacted the support team.
They have advised me to buy a new one with a discount of 35% as the watch is (1yr 4 months) is beyond warranty and can't update the firmware.
Is it a unique observation or any other customer come across such an experience?

I had a Versa 2 as a gift and I swim so could monitor my performance after only using a fitbit flex2.
after a short time the watch went dead and after trying to sort it I noticed that there was condensation on the back light sensors and it would not charge.
Tried all recommended troubleshoots without success, even put in rice for few days without success.
Customer service were useless and offered small % off a new one as out of warranty...Just!
found that a number of this model have had similar experiences and advised Customer service of the nr=breach of trading standards whether in warranty or not.
Silent response.... not doing anything for you!!.

Thanks. you had experience with Versa 2 a different model.
Even if supplier confirm submersible, for this product I will not recommend the usage and avoid water entry via sealed parts.
Since my experience is with Versa 3 like that without any much usage . So it can happen to any model in random.
It all depend on luck.

dont forget that before thinking of buying a versa 4, is that according to what I read the versa 3 has a good set of features that the versa 4 lost like support for 3rd party apps and stuff, if you ask me it's not really a worthy successor.
