New Versa 4 having trouble detecting sleep automatically

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

...I've had this for about 2.5 weeks now, got it a couple Thursdays ago (it's Tuesday now) ... and since last Friday, it's started not automatically detecting sleep. I've had to add 4 sleep sessions to it manually.

Any tips for getting it to recognize?

Unsure if it means anything, but also on Saturday, NFC was 100% not working correctly, either, but that seems to have corrected itself inbetween.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @saskun!

Sad to hear that you're having issues tracking your sleep with your Versa 4. Setting up a sleep goal and a sleep schedule will very likely improve accuracy of sleep tracking with your device.
To see how to do that and for more insights how to track sleeping please have a closer look here:

Hi there, @saskun. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 4.

Since your Versa 4 is new, would you mind making sure that your Versa 4 was properly linked to your Fitbit account? To do so, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image. If you cannot see your Versa 4, please see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

If your Versa 4 is not paired, a lot of features won't work, among them are the sleep, Fitbit Pay, synchronization, and so on.

Also, please take a look at the help article that @Talahthas has shared with you.
