New Versa 4

I have just got a new Versa 4. 
It connected to the app but the watch was stuck showing complete and a green tick on the screen. I reset the watch but now it has gone back to telling me to download the app.

on the app it is showing as connected to the Versa 4.

how do I get past this?

I feel bad that you just bought a Versa 4 right as Google broke them and are showing no signs of fixing it.

They will no longer connect to anything until 'the next software update' which they will not provide a date for and do not seem interested in fixing. It has been an issue for some time now.

Hi @Saraji - the watch is telling you to set-up your watch in the app.

Try removing the Bluetooth entries from the phone and the watch from the app.

Logout of the app and restart the phone and login and restart the watch with the button by holding it for 10 seconds.

It may recognise the watch and start setup, if not set it up manually.

If that doesn't work you will other reports in the forum of people having problems with Fitbit App which may have a bug.

I tried this but didn’t work so tried again by disconnecting the Bluetooth, deleted the app, turned off phone, restarted, downloaded app again but it still showed the Versa 4 and so I went on to add a new Versa 4 and selected to replace the one that was registered. 
Finally it paired and updated the watch and is now working. 🙂

@Guy_ Why are you not addressing anyone else's issues? We all have non-functioning Versa4s and you are doing nothing to fix them for the rest of us! Look over the threads, you will see the growing disgust with your 'help' and FitBit/Google in general. You should be pretty ashamed to "work" for this company. Thieves and scum. Those are the people who will sell you snake oil and skip town. That's what you've done with this terrible 'update' to my (what used to work as a ) watch!
