What is this 💀. I didn’t think I’d need to look into this feature existing since it was a the Versa 2 and this is supposed to be an improved device. The fact I’m reading Spotify and music player features aren’t available on Versa 4 either is insane.

You posted in the wrong forum. You posted a question about the Versa 4 in the Sense 2 forum. Those are two completely separate devices, which is why you got a delayed response.
I'll move your post for now, but in the future, please be more aware of where you're posting your questions. Any questions regarding the Versa 4 need to be posted in the Versa 4 forums.

Hello,
No, I did not post this in the Sense 2 forum by mistake. I realize I guess I forgot to mention the device I got was the Sense 2. My remark on the Versa 4 not having it was meant to be a parallel statement in that I guess switching to the Sense series was a risk of the feature being unavailable. The Versa 4 which is a successor to my Versa 2 not having it was meant to further express how mind boggling this is.

Hi @gms608 - as this is a generic remark for the Sense 2/Versa 4 series, the confusion may come from these watches being incorrectly named so that people think they are the next model up.
They have a different menu structure with a simplified functionality and a subset of features found on the previous models, such as no Google Assistant, no extra apps support and limited number of free clock faces to choose from, beside having no music features at all.
Incidentally since March 2023 Fitbit have removed on board music support from all its watches so this is the new direction.
We don't know why this route was chosen as it forces people to move to other brands, such as Garmin, if they want full music support and good battery life.
