Not happy with the new Fitbit app

I have tried to get on with the New App but i am really not happy with it.  As a mature (over60) user the graphics are awful and hard to see.  Doesn’t alway sync all the information straight away. I know we have to move with the times - But this app is not an improvement and reading many posts on here I’m not alone in thinking this.
The older version was much clearer and more user friendly. Just having my say.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I appreciate your time in sharing your thoughts and feedback towards the new Fitbit app design. I understand how you must be feeling after this change and the way it does not meet your needs.

Please note at the moment there's no way to revert the Fitbit app to the old design. I'd like to invite you to take a look at this post to get the most out of the new Fitbit app.

Additionally, I'd like you to check
this blog to get more information about new updates coming soon to the Fitbit app.

We hope to see your vote!

I agree with all the posts about the new app! It is a significant downgrade, both in looks and function. I looked a the suggested link, it’s still not anywhere near as good as the previous and probably not as good as the app from 10 years ago when I started with Fitbit. They REALLY need to get to fixing the app or people will leave.

Since Google has converted Fitbit it appears that the absolutely do not care about the long time users opinions. We get zero feedback when we express our concerns about the garbage new app. I have been a Fitbit user for over 9 years. The changes are horrible. If I had an iPhone I would totally dump the Fitbit and change to an Apple Watch. The look and features since the "update - which is more like a downgrade" has me disappointed and angry.

The lack of concern for the users of what used to be a great product is not what I or anyone else expected from this product. I am on the hunt for a suitable replacement, as I'm sure many others are. I doubt I will get a reasonable response to any of my feedback and Fitbit will disappear like the landline phone as users will migrate to better tracking devices.

These are the same comments I read with every change (this is the 4th) of the UI.

This change looks like it is designed to be more uniform with what Google now uses.

For me, I hate the way the maps are displayed. I use to be able to tell what side of the road I was on, when I walked around a car. Now I can't tell if I was on a road. The path displayed is 25 feet wide.

Agree, this new app is awful.  My versa4 won't sync, track activity minutes, show notifications, and the date is off now too...

I hate the New App!  My wife hates the new App!  Every time the new Google Fitbit team makes a change, it's for the worse.  Fitbit obviously doesn't care what their customers like, want, think anymore.  If only Apple could create a watch with decent battery life.... it would be the end of Fitbit!

You would have thought with all the negative feedback - Fitbit would get their act together and do something about this App. Fitbit you need to listen to your customers or lose them all together.

Is this how Google takes out the competition?  Buy the company and turn the products to crap ?

I’m getting used to the new design, but I feel it is functioning more poorly as it relates to sleep… it’s not always detecting when I return to sleep after getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. This is a definite change since the new app software…

Yes it’s not visually very intuitive and it really bugs me how the steps, flights and zone minutes (for me) reflect what I’ve done today but the miles is over the whole week? Why can’t I change it so everything shows the same metric of today?!
