Notifications and calls not coming through Versa4

Hi there,

New to Fitbit Versa 4, and Fitbit in general. After setting up the Versa 4, I was excited to begin testing notifications and calls through my device.

Alas, no calls have been through the Versa 4, and no single notification for texts/emails/etc have ever shown on the Versa 4.

I only get screen notifications on the Versa 4, for things like Active Minutes Goal Reminders, Heart Rate notifications etc.

I have deleted account data and restarted, I've turned off my Bluetooth and back on, and even shut down both phone and Versa 4. I simply don't have connection to my Versa 4 for any notifications/calls regardless of the app being open on my phone or not.

Turns out you go to the Fitbit App, Settings (Gear in top left corner), Scroll down to the Versa 4 Connected Device, go to General > Notifications, this brings up Calls/Texts/Calendar Events/Emails and App Notifications.

By default none of these were selected and the email App being used was Hotmail which I don't have.

Thanks, this just took a little bit of time to search around for the cause. But I figured it out. 😁

Hi @Scriblz - this may sound silly but did you pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and turn off all the icons, if the watch is in sleep or do not disturb mode you won't get notifications etc.
