Hi @Sugarlipss  - some simple things to try

  • Pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and make sure that all the icons are off
  • In the Fitbit App click profile photo and Versa 4 photo and Notifications (and also inside App notifications) and configure to your needs
  • Make sure when you pull down on the phone display of the first Fitbit App screen that it syncs

If the last one isn't working or you are still not getting message notifications try

Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Sugarlipss!

Concerning Alexa on your Versa 4 I'd like to point out that you need an Amazon account use Alexa on your device. If you don't have one, you can register here:

Create Amazon Account

Next please follow the instructions provided here to set up Alexa on your device:

How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

To set up your Versa 4 for receiving on-wrist calls, I'd suggest having a closer look here to see how that's done:

How do I take on-wrist phone calls with my Fitbit smartwatch?

This should be good start to start to overcome first hurdles on the points you mentioned. If you do have any questions about details, do not hesitate to come back.

Hi there, @Sugarlipss. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 4.

If the steps recommend by @Guy_ and @Talahthas don't make any changes, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
