I'm 52 and going through menopause. I'm averaging according to my Fitbit 5h/night of sleep. I'm having night sweats when i know I have a huge temperature variation.
I just woke up at 4:30 am. I am depleted but my Fitbit tells me I am :hundred_points: ready!!! 😂😂😂

@GhettoAstronaut Welcome back to the Fitbit community!
Counting around 100 to 150 "steps" while sleeping is absolutely usual for fitness trackers that evaluate arm movement for tracking steps as they use certain movement patterns that might occur as well while sleeping.

Counting 100 to 150 steps while sleeping is absolutely usual for Fitbit fitness trackers.
My Withing Scanwatch measures literally zero steps while sleeping and the same for my Polar Vantage V2. In fact since these trackers are well capable to understand when you're sleeping (Fitbit as well) it is definitely quite easy to inhibit the step counter while sleeping, not doing that is only laziness by the developers

Hi @GhettoAstronaut - there are things you can do to limit night steps.
Set a sleep schedule in watch settings
Set Sleep to sensitive in the dashboard [click on your device] and sett it to dominant hand even if you don't wear it on that hand.
The hourly log in my clock face shows when steps were taken in the night and they correspond to when I got up..

This worked!!! I woke up with 20 steps instead of 100 and some! Much more accurate! Thank you!
