SO Many Issues With This Versa 4!

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I regret the day I decided to upgrade from my Sensa 2 to a Versa 4 in November 2022. Every day there’s a different issue with it.
Lately there are intermittent tracking issues. It’s not counting steps. Or flights of stairs. Or activity(0 hours of movement all day?) Or sleep. There are 3 days last week with no health metrics. I have no sleep score after 6 hours of sleep - last week shows only 2 sleep scores for the week. It won’t detect exercise even when I manually set it to start. I’ve cleaned the back surface & my arm. I make sure there’s no lotion or moisture between it & my skin. The issues are so inconsistent & random. And I believe it’s too late to return it. It’s OBVIOUS that I’m not the only one with these issues, so WHY is Fitbit not recalling them? These things aren’t cheap & I feel ripped off.
If there actually IS a solution to all these different issues, I’d really appreciate any help. But I’m afraid my device is simply defective.

Hi @Kelbel2u - did you try restarting the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start?

There are quite a few issues with the new firmware but it could also be a faulty watch which can be replaced under warranty if necessary.

You may also have Fitbit App glitches and to cure them logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Login again and wait for any pair link or Fixit prompts and sync.

I agree. I upgraded to the Versa 4 as well and the issues are just ongoing. It is marketed as a tracker, yet it cannot track accurately, ot sometimes at all, on any given day, for no reason. It is especially aggravating with the zone minutes. This model was to supposed to take exercise tracking and zone minutes to a new a level  of experience. But upgrading has been a bad experience.  Not happy with this purchase!
