Sleep readings fail and activate calls on my Versa 4 constantly! (No related topic "fix" works)

I sent out a message in May this year about my versa 4 not being consistent in reading my sleep. At that time I had used 2 different fitbits and now I have used 4. It is the same situation inconsistence readings. I have worked with people on Facebook that runs their site. I have done everything. My phones are the top iPhone in this instance I have the iPhone 14 pro max. They just upgraded the software to 4.o. Everyday I check for app updates and update and reboot the watch as well as the phone. I have spent 30 years in corporate It as a regional manager dealing with software, hardware and networks 24/7. I have worked with multiple people and tried every little thing that they have mentioned. I have read the manual and still there is no consistence in sleep reading. I pay premium for this failing service. I even sent in graphs of my readings from 100 nights only 27 out of 100 nights were read and graphed correct. In all my years of technology I have never had a device that was defective like this. Remember this is my 4th and all fail or are inconsistent. When it comes to support.. "F" Have you updated, rebooted, reset your watch (that is always the remedy from support) I have done it 8 times. Here is my message from 5 months ago..TOTALLY DISAPOINTED!!

I have had two of these versa fours both of them have had the same scenario the readings that you check every morning about the following night's sleep are always inconsistent when I’ve called customer support they’re really not very helpful. They told me that I needed to do a factory reset which I did it worked for about three days and now it’s back to sporadic sleep readings maybe one day in a week it will read my sleep correctly, meaning it breaks it all down the other remaining readings are very elementary which really don’t tell you anything! When you do a factory reset, it takes a few hours to go through everything and set it back up, face styles, and all the other settings that you may have. Another thing I noticed is being able to receive calls on your watch. Lots of times it will not sync and lots of times. It just does not work no matter how many times has been updated rebooted or reset. It just does not work. If I remember correctly before, there was an update on the watch or the software, there was a setting on the software on the watch where you would also initiate the on wrist phone calls I do not see that on the settings of the watch anymore. Out of all the things they’re supposed to be available on the watch the two things that I really pay premium for do not work receiving calls on your watch and breaking down your sleep so you can analyze it when you wake up in the morning, and as far as the customer service, it is really not very helpful !

I am having exactly the same problems with my device. I am also receiving the same terrible answers from support. I am getting to the point where I am ready to end my premium service, because I can not utilize the services with this device.

well, the journey here keeps continuing a little bit more info. This is my fourth Fitbit versa four I’ve returned them three times to Costco and got new ones with the same results. Keep in mind that I’ve worked in technology IT corporate management for over 30 years so I’ve tried everything and the support team the stuff that they come up with. Did you sleep on that side with the watch oh, maybe you need to reset your watch I rebooted reset replaced done all the BS that they have come up with which is actually worthless. I just returned one yesterday. It was one that they shipped me now here’s a great story right now they’re wanting me to ship this one in the last time I shipped it in it was an absolute fiasco. They put my address and forgot to include the condo number at that time in my life a couple weeks ago my mother-in-law was in the ICU on life-support and I needed to be around. I got a hold of FED EX with them telling me that they tried to deliver it to my house when I am home all the time and FITBIT calling them was absolutely worthless. Getting hold of supervisors with FedEx. They told me that I would have to wait another two weeks for it to go back and then come to my house why I would have to personally drive across the toll bridges about 45 minutes of my time one way and go pick it up at FedEx, great service by FITBIT their incompetence costing me money and my time and gas at six dollars a gallon to go iron out there a mistake and leaving my mother-in-law in ICU on life-support. I’m wearing that watch now and it’s failing and they’re asking me to send it to them I’m sick of all of this. I am going to quit the premium service. I would never recommend this product or the customer service is beyond an F I even have the phone number and email to the CEO but why should I waste my time! I will be giving this watch to somebody that will use it to monitor their heartbeat, and the time that’s all it’s good for any of the other features. It’s undependable unreliable, and absolutely effing worthless. I will go buy a Apple Watch to communicate with my iPhone 14 pro max, which is updated every day and all the applications updated every day as well as the watch being rebooted. It’s a sinking ship. The only thing it’s good for is the same as a five dollar watch to tell time complete JUNK!! I can’t believe the BS that I heard from the support team. I mean the next thing they’re going to tell me there is that I need to stand on my head to get my sleep reading seriously I would never buy one after five attempts, every one of them has failed And trust me and IT specialist I’ve tried everything. Nobody knows what they’re doing a default product.

I am having the exact same issues. They have to know this is a garbage product. I’m so frustrated from messaging them, I’m ready to just go buy an Apple Watch too. It’s really a sad experience.
