Syncing

My Fitbit app is not syncing my steps. I have un-installed and reinstalled the app multiple times in the last year. I'm getting very frustrated about this. I keep a written log of my steps daily (usually every couple of hours) and more often than not in the last month or so they are not showing on the app. Yesterday I logged 8,073 steps but my app only said 4,956. I purchased my Versa in December 2024 and the warranty is still in effect. Should I have it replaced or am I doing something wrong?
