I’ve read the “troubleshooting” article and it’s not helpful. “Check the notification settings are set to Always.” That’s the ONLY advice I keep seeing. What happens when it still doesn’t work. Is there other troubleshooting I should/can do?

Hi there, @Kschlab. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out. 

 

While reading your post I was wondering (in case you're an iOS user) if the text messages your Versa 4 is not receiving are iMessages? I also have an iPhone and had a similar trouble with those messages, but I tried toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verified the "Show Previews" was on "Always". If this steps don't work for you, please confirm that you've followed all steps provided here Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.

Oh my goshhhhhh, it worked!!!! Well, I did what you said, then started getting full message on my Lock Screen (because that what I set it to) and didn’t like it, so I changed it to Show Preview on When Unlocked. And whammy, I started getting them. 

 
Thank you!!!! I was so close to returning it!
