The Fitbit app is not syncing the steps correctly

My Fitbit app is not syncing my steps. I have un-installed and reinstalled the app multiple times in the last year. I'm getting very frustrated about this. I keep a written log of my steps daily (usually every couple of hours) and more often than not in the last month or so they are not showing on the app. Yesterday I logged 8,073 steps but my app only said 4,956. I purchased my Versa in December 2024 and the warranty is still in effect. Should I have it replaced or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you so much for letting us know that the Fitbit app is not syncing your step correctly and for all your efforts.

Please check if your Charge 6 needs to be updated and follow the steps described here: How do I update my Fitbit device? 

Try to restart your phone and Charge 6 too: press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

Afterwards try to follow the troubleshooting steps from this article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
