The same alarm mostly works but sometimes doesn’t

I have Versa 4 paired with my Google Pixel 7a Android phone. Both are always updated to the latest firmware.

I am using Versa 4 primarily as my alarm clock. I have configured a smart alarm for workdays, and I am happy with the way it functions: it vibrates and wakes me up mostly at a suitable moment. I don’t turn it off, I keep it on.

Unfortunately on some days, maybe once a month, the Versa doesn’t vibrate when it should. When I wake up later by myself and open the Alarm app, it shows the alarm as snoozed and rescheduled for a moment in a few minutes. At this scheduled time it doesn’t vibrate either. When I look at the app again, it shows the alarm as snoozed again, postponed for another 10 minutes. It never vibrates later on.

I don’t care much for tracking my fitness. The primary purpose of Versa is to wake me up. Versa fails to do this primary purpose way too often, and not because I am a heavy sleeper - I am not.

I think this happened with a previous version of Versa watch I owned: Versa 3. So I don’t really believe my unit is defective, this looks like a software bug to me. I could not find other reports of this issue here in the forums, however. So... does this happen to anyone else?
