Unable to add pin for wallet setup

Hey, I'm trying to setup my Google wallet but when I get to the pin setup screen I can only type the first digit.

On screen I see 4 underlines and the 1st has focus. And as I start to type it will only ever populate the 1st underline.

I've tried clicking to the 2nd but the focus doesn't move.

Any ideas what the issue is?

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S7 edge

Watch: Versa 4

I've tried the same setup on my friends phone and it works, is my Samsung not compatible?
