Same with mine ! It has been a few weeks. For example I have been home in my appartement (no stairs) since this morning (it's 4PM) and my stair count is 25. I reset the versa several times but it didn't change anything. The Versa 4 is a joke
I've done 2 floors this morning and my Fitbit is reading 17!!! I called the helpline only to receive a call then then just said 'thank you for your call please give us feedback on our support!!!! ' Absolute joke! Mine is under a year old. May just return it at this point and go elsewhere
I have noticed this as well. My guess is that it is now somehow computing "every time you stand up" as climbing a floor. My Versa 4 is showing me at 89 flights of stairs! While I do live on the second floor and therefore have to climb stairs multiple times a day, I probably haven't climbed 30 all day!
I am having the same issue. Got skyscraper badges and rollercoaster badges yesterday as apparently I climbed over 250 floors. Had climbed 4 floors this morning apparently before I had even gotten out of bed. Very frustrating!
The same thing happened with my Versa 4 earlier this year. Fortunately, it was under warranty and I received a replacement. But, now the replacement is doing the same thing! I've really had it with Fitbit - it adds features that I don't care about, such as readiness score (whatever that is) but basic features that I do use don't work.
