I just went from a Versa 3 to a Versa 4. I don't want all the buzzing on my wrist so I have turned off goals in the settings. My main goal is calories. Unfortunately the Active Zone Minutes congratulations buzzes me constantly and is driving me nuts. How do I turn this off? I am about ready to return this watch.
@lhop Hello! I know you said you did this already, but maybe double check that the toggle is greyed out. You shouldn't be receiving anymore AZM notifications after that unless you mean you are getting the heart rate zone notifications during a workout. You can turn that off as well if you swipe up on the exercise before it starts and turn off the heart rate zone notifications.
Best AnswerThe button is greyed out. I don't get heart rate notifications (they are turned off too). What I am constantly getting is the notice of "achievement" of AZM minutes for some random number of active minutes that aren't listed as a goal in my fitbit. Makes no sense at all.
Best Answer@lhop Have you tried restarting the watch or doing a factory reset? If you can also provide a picture when this happens next, that would be most helpful!
Best AnswerI have not done a factory reset. I have done a "restart" several times. Cleared the cache. and restarted both the watch and the phone. So annoying.
Best Answer@lhop Give it a factory reset and see if that works.
Best AnswerThe AZM goal reminder toggle turns off reminders (those which tell you to keep going blah blah). It doesn't turn off the buzz when goal is achieved. I find it also very frustrating on Sense 2. The buzz is too long! Very distracting, especially during intervals when the only buzz I want to feel is a countdown to the next interval.
Best Answer@t.parker I think the OP is saying he's getting random AZM alerts with random numbers that make no sense to his goals set in the app. It's very weird. I've only had my Versa 4 for 24 hours, but I have not had any of these random alerts so far.
Best Answer@Heather-S random buzzes are reminders and that should be supressed by the option from settings menu on the watch (I think it's quite recent addition but seems to work). Before, I used to get those notifications during my runs and it was driving me crazy. Motivational BS like "step up", "keep it up", and including number of AZM left to achieve goal etc.. Sometimes 2-3 during single run. Still, I would also like to disable all goal-related notifications but see no way. I find vibrations too long and distracting 🙄
No, that is not what I am saying at all. The buzz's I get are goal achievement for AZM. tparker hit is on the head. You cannot turn them off. A factory reset (yes I did that) does not fix the issue. I called Fitbit and they were absolutely clueless, they could not even walk me through a factory reset. This is sad, I was hoping to like the Versa 4 but it is not for me. I went back to my Versa 3 and am returning the Versa 4 for a refund.
you can turn those off. Go to settings and scroll down until you see "goal reminders" click it to "off" and those buzz's will go away. This does not turn off the goal achievement notifications for Active Zone Minutes though.
