Versa 4 BPM Inaccurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Dear Fitbit, I hope somebody from the company can assist. I purchased the Versa 4 for my Birthday the third week of March, I’ve only had it a few weeks. My gripe is, the BPM during exercise. I’m an a distance runner and in my mid 40s. I have been running in difficult terrain and the BPM will say that my avg BPM is like 109 BPM at the end of a 4 mile hike which normally in past would get my heart rate to an average of 155. I  have checked the settings to see if I can adjust my BPM and hope this works. If not, it’s pretty disheartening that a watch this expensive can’t do what the watches in the past can do. I’m a little disappointed after owning Fitbit’s for the past 10 plus years. Any thoughts would help. If not, I may have to shift to a Garmin.

Hi, @ZachRunsAlot1  - it is known that the Versa 4 is not accurate during movement or exercise and depending on the person can over or under read.

if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

Garmin are generally better for sports measurements and have more features, you may find the Venu 2 Plus with the biggest display without being too big physically and a 10 day battery life, if not using the GPS, interesting.
