Hello. I currently have a Fitbit versa 4. It has 46 percent battery life left on it. Recently as of today it was flashing the Fitbit symbol. It was also flashing the Fitbit symbol with a light blue background on and off. And then a red X appeared also. So I cleaned it and followed the instructions via google search and still nothing. What could be causing this issue? Please let me know. Thank you. Jeff Oland

Best Answermine has been doing something similar, as well as the side button being unresponsive. I saw another post about someone letting their battery die completely and then charging and it appeared to fix the issue... I'm planning to try that. You could also try a factory reset and see if that does anything for you?
Best AnswerThat's frustrating, did you try anything or it just turned off on its own? I'm assuming you've tried holding in the side button?

Hi @JeffOland and @Nancy_. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you're doing well.
Let me help you with the issue your Versa 4 is presenting while showing a red x. Thank you for all the troubleshooting you all have already tried.
Prior to return your device settings to factory's, let try some suggestions.
First, do not unpair your device or uninstall the Fitbit app because you might not be able to pair the device again. This being said:
Best AnswerThis does not help at all. Our devices will not restart. They go into error mode (Red X).
Best AnswerI'm having exactly the same issue and none of these steps are helping at all.
