There is an icon on my versa 4 that looks like a No Entry sign. It is a whiye circle with a black - (a dash) in the middle.
and my device does not notify me of calls and messages though it used to.

Hi @CTHC. Your Versa 4 has several status indicators. That one tells you that your DND is on. Swipe down on your screen to go to your Quick Settings. Tap on the top left icon. Fitbit touch screens are very sensitive and it is very easy to set this by accident.
These are the three other indicators:
Laurie | Maryland
Sense 2, Luxe, Aria 2 | iOS | Mac OS
Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

Thank you very much for responding. The thing is, my phone says the Versa 4 is connected. I tried to forget device and paired again a few times. Phone says connected and I can sync. Just unable to get notifications for calls and msg.

@CTHC You aren't getting notifications because your Do Not Disturb is on. Swipe down on your clock face. There are six icons. The top left is that same white circle with a black dash. It control the Do Not Disturb. Tap on it to turn it off.
The steps suggested by @MaCrisGBFitbit won't help you.
