I owned a Sense since 2020. Started having issues with it. The latest issues were sleep stages and breathing rate.
Bought a versa 4 last week thinking the Sense was done, only to have the same freaken issues. It's only monitoring RHR, HR, Body Temp. The HR and RHR seem extremely high.
As a seasoned Fitbit owner have done everything already to troubleshoot. Read all the forums, it's up to date with the latest firmware this week. Even tried the hard factory reset last night because everytime I tried the soft I still got a red X, a lot of blinking before it connected.
Did I get a dud? If so, I'm returning and done with 'smart watches'.
I've attached what I get for sleep all week. But can't attach more than the one picture

Hi @DeniseEd, Nice to see you here. I appreciate you being a Fitbit user for this long and therefore invested enough time troubleshooting your issue with sleep and breathing stats.
I understand you are a experienced with our Fitbit technology but for reference i suggest to read our help article How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? below the section "How do I improve the accuracy of a heart-rate reading?". The more you use your device, the better your hr and rhr data will be.
In addition, in regards the red cross you see after every restart, i recommend to contact our support team for further assistance.

Thank you. I decided, after my frustration this morning, to go into the settings and start afresh with a factory reset that way.
When it restarted, reconnected with phone. Not only did the Fitbit logo stay steady - no red X. I'm hoping this is a positive sign in the right direction since it's never been calm when starting/restarting/updating upon first boot.
Fingers crossed or I give up. LOL
