Creating a new account as a workaround is ridiculous. I have years of Fitbit data now moved into Google and switching to a new email address is just not okay.
But you're response of "working on it" gives us no information and no way to know how long we're going to be waiting for this to be fixed.
I just bought this device last week and am going to return it because functionality is not what was promised.
This has been going on for over a month at least. I can't believe no one knows how to fix this glitch. I sent an email and was told it would take more than 7 days to respond. They were right. I sent the email on 7/15 and still no response.
"Due to recent events affecting our operations, we may need more than 7 business days to respond."
I wonder what that means.

I'm told by Fitbit help and support reps that this and other issues will be resolved with the new update. However, the banner for the new update has appeared on my Versa. 4 multiple times and the update fails every time. I called support back and they tell me that the update is not yet ready and I can expect the update in a week or so.
