This I think officially marks the end of my 10+ years as a FitBit user. I've been trying for months to delete an old child's fitbit from my account but it will not allow me to do so. I'm about to loose all my data as I can't migrate to Google because of this childs account. That along with the loss of community, and un-friendly user experience around use help and updates makes me sad, but so does loosing all my 10+ years of data due to FitBits/Googles ineptitude at fixing a problem that has been discussed since 2023.

Hi @FBByeBye - there is a reprieve on the date for the migration till May 2026, probably because of so many issues with the migration.
I have also found it impossible to do the migration because Google blocks it for me,but different reasons.
Perhaps raise it with support so they can get the necessary changes made.

I'm having a very similar issue. I've been with Fitbit for 10 years. I accidentally opened a Google fitbit account in 2024. I logged out and logged back in to my original fitbit account. Because the Google one exists I can't migrate my original account to Google and I can't delete the 2024 Google account. So I lose 10 years of data in May. Or switch to a different fitness watch and app. Since fitbit hasn't offered any solutions, my guess is they don't care.
